If you’re looking for a lock box for securing small items you should give this one a look.Let me start by saying that this. This box is not a high security solution. It will however keep honest people honest.It is well built, is easy to use, and comes with a cable to secure it to a stationary object. Kept under a seat in a car or attached to a piece of furniture or even a water pipe under a sink will help keep your value able. It would also work to keep little hands off a small pistol.The lock is simple to operate and the combination is easy to change. It locks securely and appears to be well sealed against moisture.It isn’t high security, but it’s better than leaving your valuables in a drawer or on a nightstand.

I got this for a trip to the islands of Raja Ampat, where I will stay in guest houses. The purpose of this trip is to spend a lot of time snorkeling, and although I usually try to keep all of my valuables with me in a dry bag, I thought it would be a good idea to have a somewhat secure place to store items in my room. The box is made of thick plastic and has a soft interior liner and a cable that can be used to attach it to something secure, like a bed frame. It’s big enough to fit a phone, passport, cash, and other small valuables. The four-digit combination was easy to set and could easily be changed. The lock itself is a metal toggle. Although this safe will certainly deter casual theft, it is undoubtedly not beefy enough to prevent someone with cable cutters or other tools that could be used to access it. Also, note that it appears to be water resistant, not waterproof.

It was easy to open, lock, and to reset the lock with a new pin. I didn’t attach the optional cable, but it’s nice to have it if you need it. The interior is slightly smaller than the outside, but it was big enough for keys, my asthma inhaler, a small credit card case and my S24Ultra in a case. It is a bit bulky, but it definitely serves the purpose it is designed for.I did see a small gap on the side, so I wouldn’t say it is “waterproof,” but rather water resistant. I didn’t try testing it with water to see, but I really don’t see myself having it anywhere near the water to begin with.I look forward to using it on my upcoming trips to give peace of mind. I would recommend this to others.

This lock box work as expected. Its small and compact. Its lightweight and portable. You are able to store small necessities inside of it. It was easy to reset the lock code once I was able to move it from A to B. Mine was stuck at the beginning, so I did have trouble with that but eventually got it fixed. It is super convenient.

We're renting a beach house this summer and there will be all sorts of friends and family streaming through. Some we know well and some that we don't. We figured that a lockbox of some sort was a good idea, not because we anticipate issues but just to remove the temptation to rifle through our things. It is secure enough for those purposes and doesn't draw attention. The digit combination was easy to set, it's strong yet lightweight. Good addition for any frequent traveler.

Would not unlock even after trying the how to open it if stuck, waste of money

The portable lock box arrived very quickly, was well packaged, and arrived undamaged. I opened the box and followed the directions to change the code. THe lever went right over to the position and then right back just as easily. When I tried to lock it, it would not lock. So, I tried to reset the code. The lever would not budge. I thought maybe I was not strong enough to push the metal lever. No. My husband tried for 20 minutes and he figured out that something was not connecting inside the mechanism. He let me know that it was faulty. I was disappointed and threw the box in the garbage.UPDATE: The company was very helpful and sent me a replacement that was undamaged and worked well. We use it to put things in our workshop so that they can be locked up. The lockbox is perfect!
