It's a really nice bag, but you want to be aware that while the description says it's 10.6 inches deep, that's not how deep the space is for the drum. That number includes the external pocket when it is filled. I bought this for a drum that is 8 inches deep and the drum compartment in this bag is only 6 inches deep at most. I have to return the item.

This bag is suitable for storing and carrying a 14" snare drum. Its side pocket is spacious enough to hold a snare stand and several drumsticks. However, it's not designed for heavy-duty use; the padding is minimal yet sufficient, and while the construction quality is fair, it's not foolproof.

This is a nice snare bag...the one thing I can see some people disagreeing with is the fact that the stick bag is stitched onto the snare bag; it would be nice if they could be separated. The bag feels sturdy and well-made. ..i got it to transport my 14" snare to shows, and this should do a fine job of that. Keep in mind that bags like these are lightly padded, but not armored, so depending on the level of protection you require it may not work.
