I bought this to replace the cheap stand that came with my spotting scope. This stand is very well made and even works with my binocular mount, which is a huge bonus.

Seems to be well made and solid. The paperwork enclosed says the weight capacity is 5.5 pounds. The swivel on the yoke is really a nice feature. I have not used it yet.

QC seems very good. Rubber on legs and gun rest is good quality and won't mark guns or tables/countertops. 360 fx works well/smoothly. IMO, this unit is the perfect height to shoot from tables and bench rests. Btw, the same company sells just the u-shaped gun rest that can be installed on an old camera/vcr tripod if you still have one in storage. A camera "monopod" collapsible camera stick will also accept the u-shaped gun rest attachment that just screws in. Amazon also sells a "Basics" tripod for around $15 that can be used as a solid base for seated and/or standing shooting.
