This bit features ball bearing pilot for smooth cuts and even feed rates without chatter; for trimming high-pressure plastic laminate or Corian flush with substrate; trimming high-pressure plastic laminate countertop edges where a bevel is required.

I cut a bunch of hinge slots using the steel bit that came with the PorterCable hinge template. After 6 doors it wasn't cutting any more.I bought this carbide bit and what an amazing difference. It slides thru the template area like butter and the hinge slot is left neat and clean. Highly recommend this if you are installing more than 4 doors.

Beautiful cut as smooth as glass. I’m still waiting for you to make your biscuits thin enough to fit the groove that the cutter makes. You sent me four containers of biscuits and none of them fit the groove properly.

This bit is a perfect replacement bit for the PORTER-CABLE Door Hinge Template (59370) set. As a matter of fact, this carbide bit is much better than the original, sharper, cuts cleaner and faster.
