Purchased as a gift for a collector of the conventional "Botanic Garden" pattern. While it is its own, distinct pattern, it blends seamlessly with the "parent" pattern through shared laurel wreath margins and the overall style of presentation. The birds are really lovely and add interest. These dishes can be used every day and even for special occasions. If you love Botanic Garden, you will also be attracted to this pattern.

I did not expect to use these as much as we do. I now use them for salads,pasta, and for a spare serving bowl. Love them!

These bowls are beautiful. The quality is superb. The price for a set of six was much less than we expected to pay for genuine English dinnerware. The size is just right for us to use them as pasta bowls.

A quality set of bowls: however, they were poorly packed by Amazon (placed in large Amazon shipping box, not labeled fragile, and with heavy loose items) and arrived with broken bowl. Return was easy; however, replacement was not hot available option and price had changed so could not reorder.

They are lovely plates, just what I was looking for, and the hold just the right amount of soup/stew. It is nice that they can be microwaved and used in the dishwasher. Just wish they did not cost quite so much, I'm afraid of dropping one and breaking it!
