- Gather materials: Select a fresh loaf of bread and prepare a sharp knife.
- Place the bread: Place the bread on a stable cutting board or countertop. Ensure that the bread will not slide or move.
- Determine the cutting method: Decide whether you want to slice thin slices or cut into chunks according to your personal preference and needs.

Here are the Cutting method to slice bread using a knife
- Cutting method: For a long loaf/baguette, position the blade above the bread and use a swift and even downward motion to cut into the bread until it is entirely sliced.
- Cutting method: For a round loaf/round bread, you can vertically cut the bread in half to form two flat slices. Then, place each slice horizontally on the cutting board and slice them into even pieces using the knife.
- Cutting method: For bread with nuts or fruits, you can first trim off the portion with nuts or fruits and then proceed with the slicing.
- Please be cautious while using a knife to slice bread, ensuring a safe distance between your fingers and the blade. Additionally, you may also consider using a bread slicer or other tools that can help achieve a safer and more even slicing process.

- Position the cheese: Hold the cheese firmly and position it on the slicer, aligning it with the cutting wire or blade. Adjust the thickness knob or guide on the slicer according to your desired thickness of cheese slices.
- Slice the cheese: Apply gentle pressure and move the cheese back and forth over the wire or blade, using smooth and even motions. Continue slicing until you have cut through the entire block or wheel of cheese.
- Serve or store: Once sliced, carefully remove the individual cheese slices and place them on a platter or transfer them to an airtight container for storage. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.

Cutting potatoes is easy with our potato slicing rack. Here are the four steps to cutting potatoes:
- Prepare the potatoes: Select fresh potatoes, wash them thoroughly, and remove any dirt from the surface. If desired, peel the potatoes. Ensure that the potatoes are the right size to fit into the slicer.
- Secure the potatoes: Place the potatoes on the slicer and gently press them into the slots, ensuring that they are firmly secured in place. This will prevent the potatoes from moving during the slicing process.
- Slice the potatoes: Using the blades on the slicer, cut the potatoes into even slices along the gaps or slots of the slicer. Glide the blade gently over the potato until it reaches the bottom, ensuring that the slices remain connected to each other.
- Cook the potatoes: Once sliced, you can boil, fry, or bake the potatoes to create your desired dish according to your preferences. The sliced potato chips can be used to make potato chips, potato gratin, roasted potatoes, and more.
