I ordered this to replace and old plastic pour over coffee maker. The problem with plastic ones are, they discolor and hold and trap odor. This one is made of ceramic. It will not discolor and it will not absorb smells and odors. There are three holes on the the bottom, the size of the holes are perfect. They allow for the right draining speed to make a great cup of coffee.Super easy clean up. I am ordering three more, to make a set of four out of them so everyone can enjoy great pour over coffee.

I'm the only coffee drinker in my house and only drink one mug a day, so this is ideal for me. I just put coffee in a filter (disposable or washable) and insert the filter into this cone. Then I heat the water in my electric tea kettle and slowly pour it through the filter until I have a perfect cup of coffee. I have been brewing my coffee like this for several years, but my old cone got cracked so I needed a new one. I'm glad I found this on Amazon. It's actually a better size than my old one; the filter fits better! Highly recommended!

Very nicely made cone filter holder. My GF objects to using the black plastic ones, so I bought her this one. Works great with #2 and #4 cone filters. My only complaint is that the flange has no openings. This prohibits one from seeing the level of the coffee in the cup w/o lifting it off the cup. And because this is a three hole model, when you do lift it up, it tends to drip outside the rim of the cup, making a bit of a mess. Ergo, minus one star.Otherwise perfect.

I love my coffee. And like any coffee junkie, I never seem have enough paraphernalia to make it with. Moka pots, french presses, aeropresses, technivorms, pour overs, chemex, cold brewers... the list goes on.One of my pour over staples has been the hario v60 and this compares well to it. Unlike the hario, this uses the Melitta style #2 cone filters which have a flat bottom. The build quality is comparable to my hario. Due to the design, I find that the water pulls a little quicker than the hario using the same grind settings. Reducing the grind remedies this. After a couple of trials, I dialed in my perfect cup. At this price point, this is a no brainer. I did receive this item for free to review but I plan to grab a couple more. On a side note, Melitta style #2 filters are easier to come by and generally a little cheaper when compared to hario #2 cone filters.

I purchased the Joanolga pour over coffee maker and happily used it this morning. I have a very similar pour over coffee maker that's rounded and has a single large round hole at the bottom. I prefer this version much more. First, the number 2 coffee filters that I have for a different single server coffee maker fit this Joanolga pour over brand. The bottom of the Joanolga is flat rather than conical. This makes the number 2 filters fit perfectly. Second, the fact that it has 3 much smaller holes at the bottom to drain through means my coffee brews longer before passing through to my cup. This means I get more coffee flavor from fewer coffee grounds. The fact that the ceramic or porcelain is whiter than my other one somehow makes me like it more too. At a price point of $10, it seems just a bit over priced for what it is, but I'd still buy it again, since it makes my mornings just a little bit brighter!

This pour over filter holder is perfect for a single cup of coffee when I don't want to make a whole pot, or I don't have time, or want to use some coffee different from what's already in my pot. A small paper filter fits perfectly. I like that it's ceramic rather than plastic. It cleans easily. It's reasonably priced. It could break if dropped on a tile floor, though.
