Works well with my batteries. Great to add some versatility to my batteries.

It’s great for the intended purpose, I haven’t been able to use it due to not having green works batteries but it does seem as if it’s great for outdoor camping/activites. It has multiple outlets for different sources, while being able to monitor the battery level and traveling with it.

Very useful tool, it turns spare batteries into a mobile power source. I like the 12V barrel connector output that allows powering many electronics directly. Power on/off switch allows this tool to be used as a storage hub for two batteries. The tool has a separate on/off switch for the inverter. The inverter is a pure sine wave type, which is great. It can only deliver 350W, not enough for most power tools, but it is a good backup power source for many other household electronics. Inverter is not very efficient, it consumes about 15% more power than it outputs.USB charger supports 18W PD. Not very impressive, but it is enough for fast-charging phones and tablets. In the fast charging mode, at full capacity (15-18W power drawn) power consumption indicator shows 27W, quite an overhead. The indicator only shows battery voltage and power consumption. Power consumption indicator shows total energy consumption from the battery, not power consumption than the load actually draws. In idle mode with inverter off, power consumption is a reasonable 1W. Idle mode with inverter on the drawn power fluctuates from 3 to 9W.

This power inverter is a great way to increase the usefulness of your GW batteries. Both my OEM and generic batteries work this unit. I’ve used it to charge my cell phone and to power heated bleacher seats with success. The inverter is compact, has the plenty of output sockets, and is easy to operate. This is a better solution over buying a separate power bank/supply if you already have the GW batteries in hand. You can’t go wrong with this unit.

I am using this to power a small heating pad in an outdoor (porch) cat house. I don't have any outlets nearby, and since this has one AC outlet/socket, it solves that problem for me. The AC socket is designed to be able to use for several different types of plugs. As a consequence, I had to struggle to get my standard two prong plug into it, as it was more difficult to insert into this type of outlet than into standard US outlets. This is really my only complaint about this inverter, as it works well with both my OEM & knock-off GW 40V batteries. The heating pad heats up normally and stays on for at least 6 hours (I haven't tried it longer, but I still had battery life left). This is very light without the batteries, and the handle not only makes it easy to carry but you can also loop a chain into it if you need to padlock this to something to discourage theft. This is a very handy power source that will work for a lot a different items, though not as an emergency power backup for a sump pump as its power is limited to 350W maximum, and pumps typically require more than twice that. It works for fans and tablets and other small devices like my heating pad.Update: I have been using this for over 2 months now - it has worked wonderfully. I put two 40v batteries in this at 8PM to power the stray cat's heating pad and it is still working when I check at 8 AM the next day. I have had zero problems with this, and I am so glad I got it.

I have only tested this with a single 40v Greenworks battery so far, and even then it seemed to work well. The light has multiple brightness levels, and the ability to power both USB as well as up to 350W 120V AC is great for travel, camping and during power failures. The only thing that would make it even more convenient is if it offered an ability to also charge the greenworks batteries when power is available.

I have used it a few times now. And it serves well as a portable backup to AC power. It may not run a whole house but it can run lights or fans or smaller appliances when emergencies arise. Camping uses too!

I bought this inverter to use with my Greenworks batteries, and for that it works as expected. I was wondering if this would also work for my Ryobi 40v batteries, and it does not. Not saying that as a mark against it, but looking at it you may assume it does. This inverter is entirely plastic and mine did come with a scratch on the screen. Nothing affected performance, but it doesn't feel like it will last very long in my use case.
