The only hard part was removing the bezel that covers the speaker cover, power mirror switch and power window switch. Lift from the back/rear of the bezel. Those clips will eventually release. Do not lift from the front since the hook is made of plastic, is rigid and can break.

So this is a perfectly acceptable part, at a reasonable cost, and most importantly for me was available next day. The function, particularly of the middle selector is not quite as crisp as my well-worn 22 year old original. The direction switch on this example is a little bit more “mushy“ to the right than to the left, and the glue holding the rubber flap to the back is a little bit more apparent on the right, than on the left. All of that said it is perfectly functional, essentially indistinguishable from the original in appearance, and quickly solved the problem that the center selector on my original had cracked off after 22 years. I’m sure these are all the same from any seller so just buy one that fits your shipping needs, this one fit mine. Less than 3 minutes to installed using just a plastic pry tool.
