After reading some reviews, and still being a little skeptical, I was in a bind and went ahead and ordered this, and it does not fit the maker 3. So don’t waste your time.

Somebody's husband accidently threw out their cricut supply box. Somebody's husband then paid for new supplies including a new charger chord. Crisis averted.This fits and works on a Cricut Maker 3.

Pros- it does fit the Cricut explorer 3, which you can’t get directly from Cricut.Cons-it costs 3x what Cricut charges (if they had it in stock). Bigger issue for me, it is noisy. It makes a buzzing sound. I exchanged for another one in case it was just a fluke, but it wasn’t. Kept it only because I needed it.
