Works so far but for the seat back switch I had to cut a tab off of to make the switch cover fit on a 2015 Equinox

My daughter's driver seat was fully reclined and stuck. After reading about it, I learned that the 8 way switch had been known to fail. I pulled the seat apart to verify what part I was looking to replace. After I received it, it took about 10 minutes to put it in and put the seat back together.

The switches work a little stiffer than the OEM version. You have to pull the switch back to the start position, or the seat keeps going.

Listen! ever since I paid off my car everything has been going to hell lol. I absolutely refuse to dish money out to overpriced mechanics! This is the 3rd thing I had to replace on my car since paying it off and I’m glad I was able to get it done under $20!!! I am a woman hear me roar !!! I feel so accomplished getting this done myself really quickly as well! I thought it could be the fuse at first but no. The switch came a day later than expected but it came and it worked!!! My seat would do everything but incline! Then I thought “oh maybe if I recline it all the way back it’ll reset itself” welp that was dumb 😞. Let’s just say I did a core strengthening exercise for 30 minutes while driving home sitting completely straight up while my seat was reclined all the way back 🥹! After a little research i figured it out and Luckily I had the drill tip that fit the screw already! The switch came in two days and I’m back and I’m better! Thank you Jesus 🙏🏽
