I've been using power stop brakes for years now. They have more stopping power than factory brakes. Very slightly noisier until they break in when you use the performance rotors as well.

Haven't used this particular set yet, but used the same brand and pads for another one of our GM vehicles and they're spot on with the application and stop on a nickel with NO pad degradation.
