Our nine year old is obsessed with football and kicking. He has used this for daily practice and it has held up well. He can totally set this up independently.

This tee is built well, out of solid aluminum and is put together nicely. I just didn't like the mechanics of this tee.It holds the ball well at the top of the football to keep it stationary. But when you go to kick the ball, you always end of kicking the red, metal arm.It's less of a problem with full-size footballs, but while using junior footballs for my kid--he ends up always being wary of kicking the crossbar and his kicks suffer as a result.I think I'd rather use a regular triangular football tee. This was one was just too fancy.Also, if you are not careful, after knocking this tee over, the metal arms sitck up in the air. This is hazardous to young kids running around if they happen to fall on it. The plastic tees don't have that problem.Maybe for adults this is fine, but I don't recommend for the 10 and under age group.
