Lost the key for the switch on a Harbor Freight Central Machinery 5 speed bench drill press (item 60238). This snapped into place, fit perfectly, and the wires plugged in the same locations. I was hoping to just use the key, but had to replace the switch.

For ShopSmith models with rectangular power switch (not toggle switch).This Powertec DPST switch is a physical, electrical, and functional replacement for the original ShopSmith switch. It installs with minimal drama, although you may need to re-use short wire extensions from the original switch. I installed it on a 1991 Model 510.One oddity: although this Powertec switch appears to have a removable safety key, I have been unable to remove the key, even with pliers. Other than that, the switch works great!

This switch was a direct fit for my harbor freight 4x6 bandsaw and worked perfectly. Wiring is the exact same as the original.

Works great/easy install! Took 5 minutes to install for a newbie like me! It is significantly smaller in size than the original Ridgid power switch so may go to a foot operated power/safety switch but for now, no issues/no complaints.
