The Powertec blades for the Delta 22-590 will also fit on the Home Depot model Rigid R4850. Good to know since it is so hard to find the replacements for the Rigid brand directly.

They fit perfectly. I wish they could be a little stiffer. I plane a lot of air dried white oak. It is very hard, but the problem is have is that over time the ships work their way under the blades and that little bit of flexing results in a less than perfect cut. I've gone through many of these over the years and it's a consistent problem. I wish they were a bit thicker, perhaps? Or stiffer?

POWERTEC HSS Planer Blades for Delta 12" Planer 22-540It had been several years since installing new blades on my Delta 22-540 and both blade edges had seen better days.- don't cut yourself on the Powertec blades - they are nearly sharp enough to shave with. Shipped in a tough plastic case to protect you and the blades.- perfect replacement for Delta 22-540 blades. If you receive the wrong blades, use Amazon's return process and reorder.- relatively easy to install - refer to the tool's manual for instructions.- the planer's performance with these Powertec blades versus those dull blades is like having gas in your car versus being on empty. I planed 50 board feet of white oak with the new blades, which is darn hard wood. No issues - and reasonably smooth surfaces.- you'll absolutely need the knife-gage that came with the 22-540 in order to properly set blade height. If you don't have a gage, you can get one from Delta.- While the new high-quality planers are better than any 23-year old planer, they cost in the $500 range. With these blades, the old Delta is restored to like new performance. That means (on oak at least) the surface is pretty smooth, but with faint lines every 1/16" or so where the blades hit, plus it snipes the last couple of inches on every board.Highly recommended.
