It works. It came from China and I didn’t have high expectations, but it was a pleasant surprise. I searched for bamboo whisk alternatives because they always fall apart and I’m choking on broken pieces of bamboo as I’m drinking my matcha.I made my first matcha with this and it worked just as the bamboo. I held it under running water for a few seconds for cleaning.I’m glad I ordered it.I will update after a while to see if it holds up on a long run.

I love making matcha, it’s a form of meditation for me. I make so much that I go through the bamboo whisk so quickly, they break very easily. And they can mold.This is a great product! It was tough for me to get away from the traditional whisk I’ve always used but it’s about the process and final cup that matters.
