Es un libro útil para quienes desean desarrollar la lectura primera vista en estudiantes de piano de primer año.

The Bastein's sight reading book is a lot better. This one has too much notes on the same page which just serve as distractions. The steps are totally confusing and unclear. If there are aims, they are really poorly illustrated.

This book had hardly any explanation of what students should do. There were only about 5 exercises that could be completed. I was very disappointed, because the description said that it was a systematic progress though sight reading techniques. It looks like a jumbled set of exercises that have no purpose.

Many of my piano students need help with theory & sight reading. These books are great- for older beginners to advanced. My students, (I don't use these with the very young ones), gain a much better understanding of theory. They compliment whatever Alfred's lesson book I use. My mother, who teaches the more advanced piano students, loves these, too.
