It is nice to be able to replace old watercolor pans. These have nice, bright colors with good staining ability.

This is an affordable way to upgrade watercolor trays in the Art room. It is very easy to remove and insert these replacement trays. The colors are very consistent from insert to insert.

Over half of the refills I ordered (I ordered 20) were full of sticky paint. Not the normal prang watercolor I know. Even with water and wet brushes, the paint would just stick to the brushes. Couldn't even get all the paint off the brush when trying to rinse it off in water cups or the sink. Because kids couldn't get all the sticky paint off their brushes between colors, the other colors all got mixed up. Not the kids fault. They tried following directions to clean their brushes.

My daughter took an art class and her teacher specifically asked for this brand of water colors and wow, what a difference they make! They are slightly always moist, so the artist does not have to spend a lot of time waiting for the paint to be ready. I was super impressed and these are all we buy our kids now.

These oval eights are easy to pop into the trays. Kids in my classroom will enjoy them!

The best student grade watercolors on the market. Rich colors blend well only drawback is they do not last long.

I thought assorted colors meant the trays would all be different, but they each have the same colors. My misunderstanding, though.

This is a refill set, so there are no covers or brushes, but if you are like my family we have dozens of those types of items laying around the house anyway. My daughter runs through a watercolor tray in about a month. With these, I can just pop in the next one.The real wonderful thing about these are that it brings the price down to around 2 bucks per tray, putting the price on par and sometimes less than brands that lack the same vibrancy such as Rose Art and Crayola.
