The wire broke in two the FIRST time I used the slicer on some soft cheese. Unfortunately it's past the return window. Don't waste your money on this slicer.

Wire broke after one use. Looked like exactly what we wanted, but wire snapped on first use of cutting the cheese. Disappointed.

Not quite wide enough for the cheese. Had to turn it sideways. It does not go all the way through the cheese and the wire looks like it is going to break.

Don't buy this item. The wire tension is slack and makes cutting not so great. Can't cut through to the bottom of a cheese block.Get a better product.
