I can keep my iPhone 8+ in its plastic case but I prefer to take it out of the case to use with the armband, so that my pop socket isn’t digging into my arm. The pouch for the phone is slightly larger than the 8+ so most cases, except for maybe Otterbox or Lifeproof, would not need to be removed. The plastic screen window does not sit flush on my phone screen so it’s a little odd to use it but it’s perfectly responsive. The home button is not covered by the plastic screen window so you can use Touch ID. If you get caught in the rain, your phone would probably be okay but I definitely wouldn’t purposefully wear it for extended periods of time in the rain or in the water (swimming, kayaking, etc.) because water will probably enter the pouch through the home button cutout and would damage the phone. The velcro band keeps it on my arm securely while walking and jogging, though I haven’t used it for any arm-intensive exercise. This fits all arm sizes because there’s an A loop and a B loop on the armband itself for small and medium sized arms, and an extender is included for large arms. I use the B loop and it works great. The key pocket is super convenient but I do have to take the armband off to use both hands to remove my house key. The neoprene on the back sits against my skin comfortably and despite feeling wet with sweat when I’m done, it doesn’t stink.

Ordered this armband 6 days before I was running a half-marathon. Got it 2 days after ordering. Did 2 short runs with it last week, then used it for the half-marathon last weekend. It worked great! Fit my phone with slim fit case easily and stayed on my arm comfortably for the whole race. Case appears to be very good quality. The home button on my iPhone 7 was accessible and the screen cover allowed me to easily use the touch screen. I used the iPhone with wireless ear buds and there was no problem with reception. I did not need the strap extender, but the seller sent me a link to a video showing how to use it which seemed very straightforward. Overall very satisfied with this purchase and hope that it holds up over the long haul.

It was awesome to use while on a bike ride. I listened to music (no ear buds, just let it play my Pandora list out loud for the world to hear) and I used the snug little pocket for my house key. So awesome to have this securely on my arm while I rode...no need to carry a pack or pouch. I do wish I could use the volume or screen a little easier, I wanted to skip a negative song, and could not reach over and use the screen. But maybe I could have done this if I was more coordinated and less clumsy (it's been a while since I've ridden my bike, and I didn't want to risk getting in a wreck skipping Beck's "I'm a loser baby....") OK. Net net - this was a good purchase, and I'm glad I got it. Good purchase. Good price. Good product. Hurray!

I had a little trouble with this to begin with. I use a bluetooth device for listening to my music while I walk and when my phone was inside this band, it kept breaking up like it wasn't getting a signal. I contacted the seller (Revere Sport) and they worked with me to get things right - even sending me a few different models to try out. After working with them all I can say that I like all of them. With their help, I figured out what was causing my problem and fixed it so now I get good connection all the time, so now there is no problem with it.I like how the band fits and how the cover protects my phone from moisture while I walk. I can still use the phone through the cover just like it wasn't there. It doesn't restrict being able to change music or start a new app or anything.This product works great and fits my arm and my wife's arm too because it is adjustable. Great customer service and great product. I like having my phone where I can access it and change my music or do other things as needed while I'm out exercising.

My luck with Amazon orders has been so awful lately. I keep getting damaged, used or incorrect items. This armband arrived and appeared to be just what I wanted for my iPhone 7. But I immediately noticed some "dents" and smudges on the screen protector portion of the armband - the rest of the armband looks flawless. I am so weary of printing return labels these last few weeks that I wanted to keep it. But I slid my phone in (fits great with a Speck Grip case incidentally), and the "dent" or pockmark right in the middle of the screen protector is just too noticeable. I was able to get rid of some stain/smudge fairly easily at least. It looks like just the screen protector is used or has been mishandled. I dunno. I guess I'll order another and hope it looks better.Update - 2017.01.26:I ordered another armband, but it was not the correct one. I do not think this is the seller's fault though, but Amazon's (and partly mine?). I went to my previous order of this item and clicked "Buy It Again" and checked out with 1-Click. But I did not review the order (1-Click!) and when l look at my order history, it says I ordered "Armband for iPhone 6/6s/5 & Samsung Galaxy S7/S6/S5. High Visibility Cell Phone Running Arm band Case". So, it did not have the Touch ID cutout and new headphone cutout for iPhone 7.BUT: there WAS still a noticeable pockmark in the clear plastic screen protector of this armband, too. So, maybe the seller needs to ask Amazon to stop laying the screwdrivers and steak knives against these armbands, or consider more protective packaging (it comes in a clear bag with thin cardboard backing). Maybe face the armband screen cover against the backing?Just ordered for the 3rd time and on my way to the post office for the 2nd return. Third time's a charm, right? RIGHT?!
