After noticing my current juicer was flaking enamel/paint again, like they all do eventually, I wanted a solid stainless steel juicer. No enamel. No coating. Just solid stainless. This is the only one I could easily source. And it’s very affordable.A little larger than my previous units so larger suits fit more easily. As other reviews mentioned it does have a *little* bit of flex when squeezing but not a lot. The metal could probably be a tiny bit thicker to resolve this but I have no concerns it’s going to break.

I bought this squeezer in 2014 and still use it every day. It's strong and durable as hell. Highly recommend.

I love this heavy duty jumbo juicer! I've used it extensively to make batches of limeade, splash lemon over shrimp and salmon dishes as well as my hot tea! Super easy ... insert the citrus with the cut side down ... and apply an even, deliberate squeeze of the top handle and allow it to do its thing! Afterwards, lift the top handle, sometimes the flatten lime will be stuck to the underside of the top press, which makes it even easier to remove the lime and insert another! Great look and feel. Fantastic stainless steel. I highly recommend this fabulous squeeze juicer!

I think stainless is the only good choice when using citrus. This works great and is very sturdy. Bought another for a gift & she's thrilled with it. No more dealing with seeds and feeling like you're tossing out a lemon with juice left in it. There is a residue from the lemon left on the juicer after squeezing. It's on the top portion where the skin side of the lemon touches the juicer. It comes off easily when washed, but I hesitate to over squeeze the lemons because I don't want to eat whatever that is. I imagine that a really good scrubbing of the lemons would possibly lesson that, but I just don't usually have the time. Maybe organic lemons would be better, but I'd still wash them if you have time. That's the only negative which has nothing to do with this product's quality.

Have used it about a dozen times and the metal joint where the metal ring is, is already starting to warp and bend outwards. It does a really good job of juicing lemons and limes but I don't think this 'unbreakable' juicer will survive the test of time.

I love this item! After searching my local stores for a good juicer to use when making Mojitos, I was disappointed in the quality of the items I found. So I turned to Amazon. This quality item is what I purchased and I couldn't be happier. It is solidly built, guaranteeing a good 'juicing' each time without fear of breakage. I've used it for a few months now with lemons, limes, oranges, and grapefruit. I couldn't be happier with it.

So far the juicer works exactly as described. Seems sturdily built, and I anticipate it will last longer than my cast green/yellow lime/lemon juicer. Will comment on durability in the fullness of time, but for now, seems durable, presses juice out of citrus fruit exactly as I was expecting, and quality seems above average. Thank you.

I love me a Mai Tai or Scorpion or Cobra's fang - classic tiki drinks that require a combination of FRESH fruit juices in order to become the magical concoctions they are supposed to be. These usually require no more than an ounce or two of a couple of different fruit juices, and this tool is the perfect way to extract those juices. (If you want to make larger quantities of juice ahead of time, instead of small quantities to order, there are probably better tools around, though this still isn't bad.)Sturdily constructed, this item performs as advertised - except that I never really get the sense, as I look at the used citrus half - turned almost inside out by the press - that the fruit's juice was 100% extracted. I can't seem to get any more out, but since the flesh is not destroyed - as it is in a regular citrus juicer - it looks like there should be a few more drops left. However, leaving the fruit's pulp intact has the advantage of allowing you to juice one fruit after the other, which makes it ideal for making cocktails. Also, it is configured to allow the juice to escape straight into a shot glass (for measuring) without a mess. (This also allows you to leave juice you won't need until later inside the fruit instead of having to find a container for it.) And, it cleans up quickly with a rinse of water, or a wipe of a damp cloth. It will work with any fruit that fits in the bowl - always, perhaps counterintuitively, cut side down toward the holes - which means yes to small oranges and no to large lemons. I wonder what would happen if I cut larger fruits into say quarters or sixths - would I then be able to do small grapefruits? Would pineapple work? I may try this and if I do, I will report back. But, in any event, even though this item is shown as "Jumbo" size, I can't see the sense of getting a smaller one.

I'm pretty sure I've tried all of the beehive-style juicers on Amazon (and otherwise) at this point. This is my current favorite for several reasons: They're made of stainless steel. They're easy to clean. They don't have hollow cavities to trap liquid. There's minimal clearance between the pieces (maximizes efficacy). They're inexpensive. There's a hook for easy hanging. Dishwasher safe. A quick pass with an abrasive sponge to knock off the oils from the peel and they come out shiny and new-looking in the dishwasher. The only downside is that the steel is not exceptionally thick; these do flex substantially when juicing; mine have held up well without bending or breaking, but I have some nervousness about long-term durability. I'll update in the long run (give me a few more years with them) if they remain problem free, but they just have a sensation of being flimsy. A model with the steel up another mm of thickness would probably make this go away. The other stainless juicers out there are either incredibly flimsy or trap liquids in their handles and are no good; I do not recommend any of them. The composite juicers are a joke. The ratcheted models are good at juicing but difficult to clean, bulky, slower in practice, and more difficult to operate with a single hand. They're also expensive and complicated, and the ratchet mechanisms aren't reliable. The aluminum juicers have a variety of species and associated problems. The enameled models chip, discolor, and are not reliably dishwasher-safe in the long run. The burnished models are definitely not dishwasher safe. Inexpensive models tend to shatter at the hinge. Unfinished models react with the acid in the citrus. Burnished or unfinished models that lack a finish are difficult to clean because the skin oils getting stuck in the rough surfaces. If I find a better beehive juicer, I'll buy it and review it an let y'all know, but this is the one to get at the moment.

It's actually much thicker and heavier than it looks in the photo; it doesn't bend or flex at all when in use, even though I squeeze really hard!It does a great job of lemons and limes, getting pretty much every drop out - but remember to put the lemon/lime half into it "inside-out". It's easy to clean too, and since it's just steel it shouldn't have problems with plating slowly dissolving (which happened on my last squeezer). The only thing I wish was better - but it's definitely not a big deal at all - is that after you're done squeezing and you open it up, the peel doesn't just fall out, you have to push it off or shake it loose. But my previous squeezer had ridges on the back that avoided this issue.P.S. The seller included an extra freebie - a little plastic gadget that you can screw into a citrus fruit and it sort of creates a spigot for you to squeeze juice out of it. I didn't try it but it was a nice addition.
