It's perfect for me. I love broccoli sprouts and growing them myself is much more affordable than buying them. The jar and holder are attractive to look at. I like how the top of the jar is above the drip tray. It is easy to clean and I have perfect sprouts in 3 or 4 days.

I love the design of this product and it works well. My only dislike is that the glass dish for catching water drips does not rest well within the metal holder. It’s like it wasn’t made to go with this product and it rests cool keyed, never laying flat or stable. I haven’t tried to bend the wire frame to accommodate the dish better because the product works as made, it just never seats well into the holder and is always slightly cockeyed. Otherwise it cleans easily. I haven’t noticed any rusting of the screen but will amend my review should I see any.

I absolutely love this sprouting jar! Since the day we bought it, it hasn’t been empty for even a single day. We enjoy sprouts with everything—soups, salads, sandwiches, on their own, and in so many other ways.The jar is not only beautifully designed but also incredibly functional. I’ve used it so much that I ended up buying 15 more to give as gifts to my friends! My late husband was a commercial sprout grower. He was passionate about all sprouts but especially broccoli sprouts. As they are not always available in the store, I decided to grow my own. This is the perfect set up for all the reasons listed in the item description. Kit comes with detailed instructions. It is lovely sitting on the counter. I love this sprouter! I bought one a year and a half ago when I started eating really healthy and have been using it almost everyday. I had no sprouting experience and can't seem to keep any plants alive for more than a few months, but this is super easy and works great. I really enjoy watching how the sprouts develop everyday. The sprouter is so cute and the sprouts arey green and pretty when they're ready. It sprouts enough for 2 people to have sprouts everday as long as you start a new batch when the sprouts are ready to be eaten. I started with alfalfa sprouts, but when I learned how healthy broccoli sprouts are I switched. Just follow the directions they give you for the particular seed you're sprouting. I just ordered my second one since I need it for a third person. Highly recommend!!

Such a fun way to sprout! Even when not in use this is such an attractive shelf ornament. Both practical and pretty. It did a superb job of sprouting my broccoli seeds.
