Prestige Paints Ultra Premium Acrylic Latex Interior Paint self-primes over properly prepared uncoated drywall, stucco, plaster or previously painted interior surfaces. Ideal for living rooms, family rooms, media rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and hallways. On stained or glossy surfaces use a stain blocking primer sealer. Certain colors may require more than one coat for complete hide. Actual paint colors may vary from on-screen and printer representation. Surface Preparation: All loose paint should be removed. The surface needs to be cleaned with detergent to remove dirt and grease and other contaminants. Rinse well to remove all soap residue and let dry. Scuff sand glossy surfaces and repair all imperfections. Remove dust with a damp cloth and allow to dry. New plaster must be properly cured. Patch cracks and holes, sand smooth when dry, then prime with this product. New woods may require and oil base primer/sealer. On metal use proper Rust Primer. Application: Stir or mix paint before using and intermix all containers for color uniformity. Apply this product as is with a high quality applicator such as a 3/8 inches nap roller cover, brush or pad painter. Thin sparingly with water if necessary for spraying. Dry Time: Dries in one hour. Recoat, if necessary, after four hours. Can clean gently with non-abrasive cleaner after 14 days. Cleanup: Use warm water and soap. Satin finish paints are probably the most commonly used finish on both interior surfaces. As with eggshell, this finish is good for high-traffic areas like kids' rooms, hallways and family rooms. Satin finishes resist mildew effectively and are easier to clean than flat or eggshell finishes, and can be wiped down or scrubbed lightly.

As promised (paint-shaking before shipping), the paint came well mixed. I did use the stick to mix it, but I don't think it really needed stirring. Goes on well with a brush and roller, without streaking. Dries very quickly (I had a fan in the room). Has a slight odor, which I am very picky about, but most of the paint odor was gone by the end of the day. Next day I couldn't tell I had painted.EZ cleanup. The paint kit I purchased separately came with extra rollers ad a paint tray liner, so all I had to do is lift the liner and trash it and clean the brush. Saves a lot of water!

The color looks much darker than it actually is. I happen to like the lighter version as well, but it would’ve been nice if it was accurate.

I have ordered and been very happy with a lot of Prestige Paint in the past. Although the color was very nice, this paint had a slight sheen to it, not as shiny as "satin" but not flat. All the other paint I have ordered from them as "flat" was "flat". I am disappointed in this, because I really wanted the chalky finish. As usual, however, the quality is very good, with dense pigment and great coverage. Too bad.

I couldn't be more pleased with my Amazon Prestige Paint purchase. From the shipment and packaging to the quality of the product, everything was top notch. My paint arrived a day ahead of schedule, securely packaged with a safety cap retainer to aid in shipping safety. The paint & primer in one covered the wall with one coat effortlessly. I used a lot of frog tape for this particular project and there was minimal bleeding through...a good sign of a quality paint. You will notice from the photo that this color is a beautiful bluebird Colorado sky, a perfect match for my mountain mural. Once again, I could not be happier with my purchase!
