The coupler is very high quality. The push button disconnect is very convenient and it's nice to have the safety feature of not ejecting the hose violently. There are a few caveats, however.1) It will not work with any nipple that OTHER than the High Flow or Type V/Euro (all terms for the same thing).2) The insertion is not "effortless". Against 120 psi, you'll still have to apply a considerable force to get the coupling to lock on. It's better than standard couplers, but absolutely much worse than a 5-in-1 style coupler. I prefer the 5-in-1 coupler overall because it's super easy to insert as there's never any head pressure to fight. And it works with 5 nipple types, not just the high flow.3) The coupler chews up nipples on the tools if they aren't steel. With the cheaper aluminum high flows (like Milton Colorfit) there is visible nipple damage after only a couple connect/disconnect cycles. With brass, the nipples hold up better but you can see the beginnings of damage. I'd imagine that in order to get the nipples to hold up, you really do need the steel nipples to hold up to the hard steel balls in the Prevost coupler. Be prepared to replace worn out nipples if you aren't using steel yet.

The safety coupler is a game changer with how easily you can connect and disconnect tools. Just push the button and poof, easily disconnect your tool AND it doesn’t want to fly away.I’m young and fit so the ease of connecting and disconnecting wasn’t an issue. This was purchased for the high flow function - the safety feature was an added bonus but now I’ll never go back to standard connections.Money well spent.

Quality coupler easy to use . Press the green button to release the tool and put your other tool to use is that easy . Would recommend to everybody looking for air coupler expensive but worth it.

Solid feel, push the green button to release. You can rotate the button angle to the desired position. It keeps the attachment in place until all the air is vented from the attached accessory.

I have arthritis in my hands and it is hard to disconnect air lines, these are a Godsend and work without effort! I am converting all 22 outlets in my commercial shop.

I'm dancing between a 3 and a 4 right now.Initial thoughts: feels well built, and in quick testing the safety release works well - it doesnt eject the fitting at pressure. I haven't tried disconnecting a hose, however.The major reason it's not 5 stars: it will NOT work with industrial/type M fittings, like most of the other high flow couplers out there. it just blows air past the fitting (not a small leak, a major leak). I've seen reviews that suggested otherwise - but they're wrong.So far it does work with both milton V and flexzilla high flow. Will provide further testing when I get more fittings to try.
