It works to feed my quail, however it is not as balanced as another brand I have. Daily, I make sure it feeds in the feeder so it is not good for a several day plan of feeding without a daily check.

Good, sturdy, and works as it's supposed to; but our darn squirrel figured out how to open the lid, tossed out all the food, and decided it make it a nest.

The bin feeder has been the perfect solution for my guineas. It’s easy to install whether installing it on the inside or the outside of their habitat.I’ve read many complaints that the hanging hooks are installed backwards especially when hanging the bin feeder on the inside but really it makes logical sense that the way the hooks install, is to keep the guineas from pulling it loose, as this way it actually reinforces it to stay sturdy. Also the stand in the back is to keep the bin sturdy up against the wire wall of the habitat, it keeps the bin from rocking loose as it hangs, so the guineas are not able to knock it off.Another complaint I’ve read is that the pellets won’t flow through. I personally have had no problems with that as the food I use is comprised of rose petals and rose hips, zoo-vital biscuits, baked crisps, and hay pellets that are small enough to flow right through the bin feeder without getting clogged. Anything larger, I can see would get stuck, therefore I think its important to check that the bin feeder is the right fit for your critters food or consider changing their diet to something that is well suited to this size bin feeder. This bin feeder is definitely not designed for hay unless perhaps if the hay is chopped short.Overall, I am very pleased with this bin feeder for my guineas. I now have two that I use, one which I just recently purchased as it took a while for them to be back in stock for me to order.I would highly recommend this item!

Easy to install. My bunny has not been able to knock it off her cage like her water bottle! Easy to fill and limits the number of times I have to feed my rabbit! Excellent product! Highly recommend!

I love this except the food dust holes are very large compared to my game hen feed for quails. I loose a lot of food along with the dust. I like the holder so much otherwise I’m trying to make it work and coming up with creative solutions that so far are working. It’s very sturdy and works well with multiple quails.

Ordered several of these. Several side wires broke off while trying to mount them. Worse thing is it doesnt let the pellets down. I did everything bent the dam things up. In the end several times a day i have to shove the pellets down so they can eat. Defeats the entire point.

My young guinea pig is a chewer but mostly has enjoyed chewing on plastic. I had to take out the ramp and platform the cage came with. I had to buy a new food dish, which was supposed to be heavy duty plastic. She ate it. It is so nice to know that she can't eat plastic anymore! I got her a Timothy Hay tunnel as well. She can chew that to her hearts content! Thanks for carrying this because the screen area looked more sturdy than another brand that looks similar.

Really happy with this bin feeder. Solid metal construction with durable finish. Built in grate to remove kibble dust and crumbs, and the narrow opening at the bottom does a great job limiting the amount of kibble dispensed, which has significantly reduced the amount of kibble digging and food waste. I do wish it came with a better way to mount to the cage - while the hooks might be fine for a rabbit, a curious ferret will undo the connection and escape in a heartbeat. Mine is secured with zip-ties. I would also have preferred if the top opened towards the cage instead of sideways - I have had a few close calls where tiny toes were nearly pinched while opening the feeder. But these are minor caveats. The feeder works great and is an overall good design. Well worth the money.
