Your cart is empty.Carriage bolts feature a slightly rounded head and have no exposed sharp edges when fully fastened. Due to that reason, they are often used when a more aesthetic look is desired. They are commonly used on docks and on playground equipment or in cases where it may be difficult to reach the bolt head with a tool. The square shoulder on carriage bolts help to hold it in place while the nut is fastened.

The worst bolts ever! Threads were terrible had to run dies on all of them they were not cut deep enough. Turned my half hour project into a over 2 hour project. Total junk!

Unable to find 2-1/2" galvanized carriage bolts locally, I ordered from Prime-Time and the bolts are exactly as I was expecting. No surprises. No issues to report, My expectations were met. Now I can finish-up a few projects.

These are the worst I have ever seen . the plating was so uneven that the nuts would not go on to the bolts . I ended up throwing them out because they were completely unusable
