I bought this part to replace a broken Pivot Bar on my 20+ year old windows. Be sure to measure your old parts and look closely at the dimensions of this new part. There are many different pivot bar sizes and styles out there. The width was unusual on my pivot bar; 1/4 inch. Also, the "shark fin" on top of this pivot bar was not on my old bar, but this fits into the slot in my window perfectly even with the shark fin. It may even add extra strength.
