This is a bi-fold closet door top pivot rod as well as the top and bottom guide rod used on Slimfold bi-fold door systems and a variety of others. The 5/16 inch rod is 6-3/8 inch long, comes in a nylon sleeve, and is spring-loaded. The nylon sleeve has a hook/clamp that holds it in place in the steel framed bi-fold door panels.

It took a while to figure out, but this is what I needed to repair/replace the guide pins on my circa 1965 bifold doors. The existing pins were worn down to just bare rods/pins with no glides. The picture of the door is mine, but I found the diagram while searching for the correct part for my door and was done by someone with more time, better handwriting and better artistic skills than me. This part on Amazon is similar/same as Swisco 21-007. I used these guide pins on both the top and bottom of the center of each door (not the pivot side), but did need to drill the existing holes very, very slightly for the new pins to fit. The doors now work like new, but still look like 1965.

I have a 1970s house with metal bifold doors on wardrobes.The hardware was old and not ajustable anymore. Couldn't find these anywhere else and received it quickly once ordered.I can't complain! It saved me from changing the door entirely.Will buy again if another door gives me the same issue.

These are great for the old bifold doors. I have rentals and all of them have the bifolds that require these for fixes. Glad I can find these here!

Great pins and wide assortment for hard to adjust doors. I wasted my time going to the local big box home repair stores and found a very limited supply. Then I remembered that I had an Amazon Account. Voila, problem solved by these guys. Highly recommend and speedy, speeeeeeeeeeedddddddy delivery.
