This is a spring-loaded, 3/4 inch square glide or guide in a 3/8 inch plastic base. It mounts on the top edge of a bi-fold door that is 1 inch to 1-3/8 inch thick. To install use a hammer to lightly tap into the pre-drilled top mount hole. Used by Alliance Doors and a variety of bi-fold door manufacturers.

This guide features a plastic square track glide. Comes complete with a spring loaded pivot shaft. Diameter of the base measures 3/8 inches.

This is an easily installed upgrade of the original which could only be replaced by removing the door.

It's perfect! My bi-fold doors are over 25 years old, and this part is not available in any hardware or home improvement store. All I could find were round versions of the same thing, and they would not work (I tried). Now, I have closet doors that work like new.
