I mainly paint in acrylics and this brush holds up really well whether using it for big block-ins or more refined areas- it does the job. It holds up to the frequent rinsing and washing required for acrylics and doesn’t splay out or shed hairs. Nice combo of snap and softness. I have a few of these brushes and will add to my collection.

I use this for watercolor and I like that the bristles snap back and are not too soft.

I Love, Love, Love my Snap brushes, but BE AWARE, the information for This Item does Not point out that this is an Extremely Long-Handled brush - 13.5 inches. My other Round Snap brushes are 8 inches long which is a typical watercolor brush. The only place the length is mentioned is in the Product Description, and who thinks to look there? I'm returning the one I got & will hopefully find the shorter handle version here on Amazon.

Love these brushes, they give me more control when painting fine details. I find for me they work really well for shading areas since they don’t flood the paper with paint.

Just a note that this handle is extremely long. I think the picture must be of a larger brush size so the proportion of the bristles to the handle doesn’t make the length obvious. The bristles are a little skimpy.
