I purchased this screen to place on my back door that leads iinto my screened patio. It’s great! It allows for cross ventilation and easy access for my pup to go in and out. Best of all, no more flys or bees inside my home.

Screen quality and Adhesive strength is good and easy to install.

Should work well and hopefully it will last. It arrived and the bag containing the velcro was open and missing the nails listed in the description. Obviously returned by another buyer. I am tired of this by too many Amazon sellers.

This screen is great! Came with all of the necessary stuff to install but being an engineer, I usually make things better. The screen works great for bugs and obscures the view into my garage. To make it better, I added two wood strips to the top so I could hang it from hooks inside the garage door, I also added 1 1/2" ABS pipe at the bottom so I could roll it up and have weight so the wind wouldn't blow it too much. It worked great. Was able to close the door with it in place but when I opened the door the magnets grab onto the door so you have to move quickly to grab it and hold it down when opening. The magnetic door in the middle works well. The "fold marks" from shipping came out once I rolled it up onto the ABS pipe. Great product!

I purchased it purely for the privacy and a little sun deflection. I'm in a dry climate and bugs flying into the garage isn't a common issue, so this product doesn't offer much benefit to me in that area. There's a small chance it could prevent an encounter with a large lizard!My house has a Stucco finish outside which covers the garage frame, so there's no flat surface for tape to stick. It's common in Nevada and Arizona, probably other desert places. I questioned how well this would stick mounted to the exterior of a house in a very hot climate, anyway, so mounting to the inside seemed like an alternative worth trying.(Those short thumb tacks would absolutely not do the job. Perhaps if you Bring Your Own Nails...)What I didn't know is, by design, you can't reverse the mounting direction for this. There's only Velcro on one side, so your tape needs to go on that side. And because the mesh is only silver on one side, there is no privacy effect if you mount it inside the garage. You could use a paint roller and white paint to work around that, and if that were the only issue, I would have.It's not the strongest adhesive, and your garage door frame is likely painted, so even with a clean surface it required some stapling to hold on. I didn't see a long-term review, mainly people who got this for free and demonstrated a fresh install.I mounted it inside the door, which was very promising...the door can generally still open and close. But the magnets on the flap edges will not only attract each other, they stick to the garage door during opening and pull the screen upward. Tug the screen downward after opening the garage and it's fine. But the magnets also cause the garage door to tug the screen more when closing, which eventually loosens the adhesive Velcro strip used to attach it across the top. I feel a thicker fabric strip on the sides (just not the inner edge where the two flaps connect) could've solved this. Or magnets attached to those magnets with an opposing polarity facing the garage door?The screen will occasionally block the door closing, as the screen can get pulled too close to the garage door and block the IR sensor until you move the screen out of the way. Not an issue for exterior mounting, certainly--but those with Stucco-painted homes likely want to look elsewhere. With some tweaks, this product could be more of a universal fit.
