The teeth on the groove channel that interacts with the crack is made up of separate sections which are so loose that the pole will only crank up about 8 inches, then it jams because it cannot make contact with the succeeding sets of teeth. This is poorly designed and way overpriced. I returned it to Amazon the same day it was delivered.
