I was looking at all kinds of hearing protection for shooting sports including Otto, IsoTunes, Axil, etc…. I found these to be the best value buy for the price. The Otto were out of my price range at the moment, but are also a great buy.I highly recommend also ordering “Comply Foam 400 Series Replacement Ear Tips” to replace the ear tips that come with the 28HTBT. The tips are about $16 and worth every penny, making the Pro Ears 28HTBT Super Comfortable to wear all day!

All the guys and gals I shoot with wear some form of a device like these. I just could not get them to seal up completely. It’s probably just me, as I’ve always had problems with earbud type devices. I gave them to my buddies wife, and she says they are great. If you have had problems with ear buds maybe just get ear muffs instead. If you have never had problems with any type of ear bud, then these will probably be awesome for you. So take my two star rating with a grain of salt.

I bought these Sept. 2023, it’s May 2024 now, and the right speaker is just about shot. I don’t believe I’ve treated it poorly, as I use it for work and little else (manual labor involving lawnmowers and other similar equipment). I’ve been sure to clean them pretty consistently and have tested to see if it’s the speaker or just the fit of the earplug.Other than that problem, they work pretty well. Solidly built, as good if not better than other hearing protection I’ve tried. The mode where you can hear others works flawlessly. I like the case. The fitting of the bud itself is meh. I wish there was a smaller fitting, my right ear is pretty small.I do not believe I’d purchase these again if they truly only last 8 months or so. Problems began at around month 2, but it got significantly worse recently, which spawned this review. Maybe I just got a lemon.

The first shot that was fired made my ears ring. After a couple adjustments it didn’t get any better. Really disappointed.

This is a VERY nice Bluetooth Headphones. They sit behind your head in back neck area. They connect very easily to my Cellphone. Sound quality is very good. Offers great Noise Protection, made for shooting of guns without the deafening sound as this somewhat Muffles or Cancels Out most of loud noises. Comes with a variety of different sized earbuds tips for a perfect fit. Would recommend as this product is very good, works very well. A bit expensive is the only issue, but as they say, "You get what you pay for." Good item 👍.

I have used Pro Ears before, a strong brand in hearing protection, and the this new model is excellent. The unit is small and compact, has Bluetooth capability for phone and listening, still offers great protection with a 28 NRR. But best of all is the sound quality; it is really high end. And is has excellent directional capability. I recommend this unit highly.

So I preface this with, "I am using the foam tips." I work security on occasion, and I bought these to be used "in case of emergency." When I have to wear these for hours on end they become exceeding =ly uncomfortable the longer I have to wear them. Moving to a small size would sacrifice hearing protection.The pass-thru sound clarity is excellent if the ambient sound if roughly level, or if the people you are talking to have having a casual conversation, but if the tone has multiple volumes or complex dynamic sounds, such as music or conversations in a loud environment, you will hear a lot of static.Bluetooth sound quality is what you should expect from ear protection with bluetooth. You didn't buy it to jam to music, but to have it when you want.

I have been using ProEars ear protection products for many years.I wanted something smaller and lighter and decided to give these a try.Like many of their other products these Stealth 28 HTBT work well. They do an excellent job muffling gunfire noise on the range and still allows me to hear when other are talking.These are light weight and fit my ears very well..I plan to start using these when I am working in the shop as well..
