The product I received does not match the product pictured. I needed these joint protectors to match a previously purchased set and they do not. I am deeply disappointed

threads are fine but the aluminum was already gashed with Knicks. do they work? Yes, but they already looked "beat-up".

Very high quality joint protector. Matches my Lucasi protectors perfectly. First real joint protector I ever purchased was for my Voodoo cue (5/16×18). That was the Blade. Anyone who knows the Blade is aware it's round on both ends, on won't stand on it's end. This new joint protector solves that problem..if you combine with the opposite end of the Blade. It fits perfectly. It looks well made. I like the finish. Nothing NOT to like - but it's just hard for me to "love" anything so simple. I think I would have "loved" it if it cost under ten dollars.

I bought a few of these for my teammates and friends who all originally had the plastic ones which broke over time. These aluminum ones are light weight but don't let that fool you, they're very strong and well made. The machining on these is well done, the threads are clean and cut perfectly.Besides protecting your cue joints from moisture, dirt, and damage, the optional colors make these great for identifying different shafts and butts in your case if you have several different cues. Since these are aluminum they can be engraved easily, and make great personalized gifts to the pool player you know.
