TIPS FOR USE
- Cut cleanly with a tube cutter(not include)—keep edges smooth and round for perfect flares.
- Deburr the inner edge (10°-15°) to remove shavings, then wipe the pipe exterior.
- Lightly coat the trimmed end with anti-seize lubricant before assembly. Clean cuts = leak-free seals!

This is a heavy-duty flare tool for brake and fuel lines. Living in the northeast with all the salt on the roads means you're replacing rusted/rotted brake lines frequently. I've completely redone 3 or 4 cars and made repairs to countless others. This works so much better than the little flare tools I've been struggling with for years. I like the way it's set up for use in a vise. Making flares is so much easier that way. 5 stars. I definitely recommend this.

The Professional Brake Line Flaring Tool Kit for 45 Degree Single, Bubble, Double Flares, Brake Line and Tubing Flaring Tool for 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 4.75mm Tubing for Metal, Stainless Steel, Copper is a great addition to my garage. I don't do a lot of brake lines anymore, but it's nice to have a tool handy when the need arises. I did test the tool on some scrap copper I had laying around and I liked the results.
