Easy to use, aestheticaly pleasant, seems accurate, rapid response.I just wish the switch F to C was easy access but it's inside the batteries compartment. But even better would be for the US to come out of tge Dark Ages to the modern world and use metric!

Use it all the time while I am grilling steaks.Records in just a second, and I am able to cook the steaks to the perfect degree of doneness. Works so great. I got two more and gave them to my son and son-in-law.

I am absolutely amazed at the quality of this product (ThermoMaven F1 Pro), both from the build, look-and-feel, as well as from a performance perspective. It is way more superior to the previous thermapen I bought on Amazon.Storage is very convenient - you can just unfold to use it and when you are done fold it back. It is also magnetic; you can just attach it to the fridge door (or any metal surface) so you will never forget where to find it (if you are also a forgetful person like me!).To test out its speed and accuracy, I dipped the probe into a pan of boiling water, and it instantly displayed back 211.2 (°F), which is almost exactly the boiling point of water!I have already used it when I cooked pan-seared salmon last night. The salmon has never looked and tasted this good! thanks to the instant and accurate temperature reading from this product.I wouldn't hesitate recommending this product to anyone who love to cook great food! It is well worth the price.

This is a substantial device. It's not huge, nor is it heavy, but it is solid. It has a few features that make it extremely easy to use.1. fold out the sensor and it turns on.2. turn the thermometer upside down and the reading is right side up. It flips so seamlessly I didn't notice it did it at first.3. close it and it's off.4. it's fast, not sub-second fast, but in less than 2 seconds it's at temperature.5. it's got a sharp thin sensor tip 15mm long so it doesn't do much damage when pushed into the object to test. For those who like high-end tools, this thermometer meets that standard. I slid it into my pocket and nothing pokes out to get you, it also won't get damaged it's so sturdy. I've used several thermometers, this one feels built to last.

TLDR - This is a great thermometer that passed my tests and works as it should. The fast displaying temperature on a backlit screen, and the IP67 make this worth every penny!I have been using a digital meat thermometer for quite sometime now, and I felt like it was not accurately reading the temps and the meat was getting drier and drier due to being overcooked more and more. The final straw was last week when I made a brisket and It just seemed to be taking so much longer to get to internal temp than it has in the past. So I finally pulled the brisket off and let it set for a bit and then started cutting it. The meat was so overcooked that the thinner parts were pretty dried out and it was very disappointing. I knew right then I needed to find a new thermometer, and that is how I found this ThermoMaven F1 Pro! It was packaged very well and came with great instructions and a AAA battery, which was very surprising it takes a standard battery and not a watch style battery. This came with a calibration certificate as well which gave me more confidence that this was going to work accurately. The first test I actually did was washing the unit before I went to use it to test the IP67 rating and it went great and did not effect the unit at all. I washed my old thermometer and water got inside the power button and/or the button to switch between F and C and the display was not readable. So I had to wait until the next night to try the second test of the temperature of the meat to compare the 2 side by side.I did not have any meat that needed to be cooked as I had intended to use this the night before when I did the washing test, I did reheat a portion of pork tenderloin and tested this thermometer alongside my previous version I believed wasn't working accurately. As the attached photo shows the temperature was showing way below this ThermoMaven F1 Pro, and confirmed my suspicions that my old unit was off. I did some controlled tests between the ThermoMaven F1 Pro, my confirmed broken thermometer and a regular old school thermometer to check your personal temperature and the ThermoMaven was inline with the old school thermometer. I thought I took a photo of this, but I could not find it to add with the others.
