This mask is well designed, especially with the cutout for the forelock. However, the mesh for the eyes could be a bit larger (deeper) so that they aren't brushing up against the horse's eyelashes. Overall, these are good masks.

I purchased these masks for my two horses, one is a standardbred the other a Tennessee Walker. They fit really well and stay on all day. They are so much easier to use then dealing with velcro straps. I bought another pair to switch out when I wash the first set. They clean up pretty easily and seem quite durable. They come in really nice colors. Flys can not slip in under the mask and the horses can see really well through the eye mesh. My horses tolerate taking them on off with no issues. I recommend these masks. The price is great!

I’ve yet to find a fly mask that my mare cannot get off. This one is no exception, BUT she does seem to tolerate it longer than any other type. I won’t knock a product because my mare is too smart for her own good, but I will take a star off because after only 24 hours, there was a small hole already in the eye area. The mesh is nice, but it’s not as sturdy as standard fly masks. So when they do remove it and trample it, it just doesn’t hold up.The things I like: the snugness to her face. She’s on the smaller side of a quarter horse and the cob size fit perfect. I like the forelock hole. The colors are great. I like how the mesh “bubbles” around her eyes. Less eye rubbing than with a traditional mask. This fits under a bridle better than a traditional mask. This mask is super easy to put on, and obviously easy for both of us to take off!Things I don’t like: simply not robust enough for my mask killer, at this price point. If I had a horse that tolerated masks better I wouldn’t hesitate to stock my barn with these.

Great mask but price has gone up way to much. Could be better quality material (thicker) Only one my horse will keep on all day. Wish the material was thicker and the mesh doesn’t help my horse from the sun. We keep a mask on him due to sunburn mostly and it isn’t as protective as we need it to be. I’ve purchased three of these in the past four months. When our horse does take it off it tears from being so thin. It is a great mask for under a bridle and riding tho. And it does keep the bugs off. I keep purchasing it due to tears and my horse has to wear a mask due to the sun. I have only tried one other mask n the fit was terrible so until I find one that fits properly and is better quality and cheaper I’ll keep using this one. Can’t afford to be buying other brands that may or may not fit rt. now. And the price went up from last year a lot so definately looking for an alternative cheaper better quality mask. They also stretch out to easily from material being to thin.

Update: it didn't last all the way through the summer. She rubbed twice on a tree and it was ripped. I am going to go back to cashel masks. they last and last. This one is nice in theory but doesn't last on a pasture horse.I like the ease of the on and off, being stretchy also gives you a better fit than traditional velcro. The mesh is too large for the smallest gnats but it keeps the larger ones out well. Our mare hasn't gotten it off yet on her own. Very easy to see through too. Dries quickly, easy to wash.

But it does get a bit loose at the neck, and he manages to always get an ear out. Has to be braided into his mane to keep it on.

I have purchased several of these for my own horse and over a dozen for a friend of mine who runs a horse rescue. After years of going through various masks - and having learned at my own stable that the 'better' quality masks which are made of heavy material - the horses LITERALLY CANNOT SEE OUT OF THEM. I have seen several horses incur injury in the pasture running to or from something and running into something because they cannot clearly see out of their masks. I made it a personal policy to take each fly mask I owned and it put it up in front of my own eyes to test the visibility my horse would have if she were wearing it. I ended up throwing out the majority of masks I had owned. When I bought this mask I did the same test and it has GREAT VISIBILITY FOR YOUR HORSE. The nylon also stays on better, is very comfortable for the horse, and easy to wash and air dry. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS FLY MASK.
