I saw this brand at a local sporting goods store but it was double the price. I received this rod and reel quickly and took it out that weekend. I caught about a dozen trout with it the first time out. It has a good action and very smooth quit reel.

My daughter picked this out due to the Color. It is light weight, the reel is good quality. Not sure what the rod is made out of, probably fiberglass as it is quite flexible and not very sensitive, it says moderate action. It's definately not a $200 rod, so that is expected. The orange mono line that it comes spooled with is pretty bad. Braid should help with the sensitivity since this mono stretches about 4" per foot. It's more like a rubber band than fishing line.

i got this as a gift for my sister & she ADORES it ! this has become her favorite brand! its easy to hold and use and she has already upped her fishing with it. no issues !

I love this pole. It’s awesome colors and overall dependability. This thing has caught me 4 trout of various size and hasn’t failed me yet. It is a smooth reeling reel also. The only flaw is the description. It says it has 8lb line on it already but the reel itself when shipped out says 6lb line. No big deal I would definitely buy again

I bought this set up for my wife because my father in law (82) wanted to go fishing for trout in the Chattahoochee River of North Georgia. My wife is SUPER COMPETITIVE when it comes to fishing with me because I’m a Charter Captain. Our family LOVES fishing! But my retired Firefighter/model/artistic wife need to be stylish while she tries to beat me at fishing. She was super impressed with look of this rod. She thought… “it’s about time someone thought outside the box with their rods and reels lookAnd design! I could work for them!”. She loves it so Much she has it mounted in our living room! She was impressed with the quality at this price point and the fact she looked cool while she fished. All the actions worked perfectly. She landed a few nice trout and a wall decoration for our home! She now wants to design rods so other people can look cool too!
