I don't have a lot to compare too, but I bought a size that should actually be quite big for my daughter (says fits child 12-13, and she wears 10-11), but they are very difficult to get on. While they are a little big in the toes, as I expected, they will still work once they are on, but it literally took several minutes to squeeze her feet through the opening. I'm assuming that will stretch out and work better with time.
