Better than stock springs but money could be better spent elsewhere like on a set of emulators. They fit fine but after about three months of riding they are making noise and actually starting to bind up. Progressive will help you until it comes time to have them honor a warranty. They will stop answering your calls and emails.

Just installed a set of these in my 2014 Harley Forty Eight. The ride is definitely better, but not dramatic. It's still a little bumpy up front. The other thing that kind of sucks about these things is you can't use your own fork caps, because the caps are part of the unit. So my nice brass Lowbrow Customs ones had to be retired.

I have this system in 2 KLR 650's, they really do work real good, simple install no big deal, however, 3 weeks ago, I had to return one of the sets back to PS, although it took 3 weeks and I missed 2 rides, they finally got to mine, I just feel that 3 weeks was a bit to long for a lifetime warranty.

What a difference this makes on the Sportser Nightster. I can't believe The Motor Company sells the Nightster with the shocks they do, but mass production and low price so there has to be sacrifices somewhere. I just don't think suspension is an area to be compromised. Night and day difference and I was ready to trade this bike in due to the ride. I did replace the rear first with Progressive Suspension shocks and all were correct in saying you have to match with the front monotube.

These monotones complement the Progressive 444 shocks I bought. Road bumps are not as bad any longer.
