I'm using these on a ballistic helmet with Comtac 3s. Installation was super easy and they functioned fine, specifically the pop in pop out feature. But, I found that if I store them popped out, on the back of the helmet, they won't stay popped back in. So, I'm storing them popped in where my ears would normally be. So far, so good. Still worth the try over the $80 Comtac version.

Walker razors slide right off the bracket. From what I can tell it's because of the flat spot pictured. It is horizontal while the bracket they come off of is vertical.

I mounted these and the BR03 adapter is quite loose on the rail allowing it to rattle and wobble fore and aft, but more importantly the actual wire arms do not provide near enough tension on the ear muffs to hold them securely to my head. Depending on how I move, the cups will lose a seal against my ear which is unacceptable.

I was pleased with how they fit on my pgd arch helmet's rails after seeing another review but mine fit very flush and snug. I had to reuse the little clip arms that came with my peltor rangeguards but I'm glad they fit on there no issue. My problem is one side pops out to the more open setting with the slightest outward pressure or just whenever it feels like it. This is super annoying as it makes a very loud pop and would also be very bad if it happened while shooting which I'm sure it would with shouldering and everything. Ordering a replacement and hoping its just a one off thing.

So far so good ! They rotate smooth and have good retention so for the price I don’t think you can beat it

I used these on generic rails with Howard Leight Impact Sports. I knew they weren’t designed for the HL muffs (they’re designed for 3M/Peltor), but all you need to do is file down the tabs on the wires then crimp new tabs perpendicular to the factory onesMy generic rails are within spec and work with Peltor adaptors. These adaptors have too much material that bears down on the top of the rails (see pic). You’re likely going to have to trim off some material. Once I took off about 1/16” in that spot then they work just fine. Fit isn’t perfect (angle of the dovetail is slightly off), but the tension on the rail seems to be perfect. These aren’t going to pop off.Aside from rail fit issues, these hold the muffs a tiny bit too low. It’d be great if they held the muffs just 1/4” higher. I might bend the wires to make them right.The pressure that the adaptors push on the muffs when engages is just right for me, so no problems with that.All in all, these are a good deal and work well if you’re willing to tinker.
