I’ve used this stand infrequently for my tenor ukulele in the 3 years I’ve owned it. I like its compactness and beautiful wood. Today the beautiful wood cracked at the hinge when I opened the stand (see pics).

It seems like it is very well made. Padding all the way around where the instrument might touch, neat hinges, etc. It folds up very small but is heavy enough to not tip, though I might be apprehensive on carpet. It also came with a bag to put it in, which would be useful to avoid it scratching anything if you stash it in the case with your instrument. Pictured here with a F mandolin.

Excellent produit. Classe, en bois, convient à guitares solid body ou thinline/archtop de faible profondeur. Exit les dreadnough, classiques et jazzboxes. Je pense me prendre la taille au dessus pour ma folk tellement c’est cool!

Had this stand for about a year when the wood on one of the rear legs broke when it was folded down. but the wood split because the hinge is/was too tight. I emailed the company about purchasing a piece to replace the broken one and the reply from Cooperstand was snarky and accusatory. Although the stand was nice, the company representative was not. He obviously doesn't believe in good customer service, so I cannot recommend dealing with Cooperstand.This was our 3rd stand from this company. Two were fine, but after the poor customer treatment, I won't buy from them again and can't recommend them.

This is an excellent stand for my Mandola. only 4 stars because it is a bit flimsy and can be knocked over very easily. However, it is beautifully made out of wood and is well engineered too so that it folds up very small. Very attractive as well as functional, I just wish it was a bit more sturdy. Good for use in a very safe environment but be careful with pets or children around or if you are clumsy.

Best stand ever. I love how it folds up and fits in the front pocket of my ukulele bag. It is solid construction and attractive when out on display. An excellent combination of function and beauty.

I ordered one for myself and one as a gift for my sister. We have had the larger version for our guitars for over a year now. It is the best stand ever. Easy to set up. Easy to carry. Very sturdy. And they look good!

I've only had this stand for a few days but I've got to say so far I'm very happy with it. Firstly it came well packaged and it arrived in its own little carry bag for when you need to carry it from place to place. It folds into a very compact space much smaller than my other stand. It is well made and the wood is a nice touch, I'm using this stand for my living room so it kind of needs to fit in, which it does.I'm using the stand for a concert size ukulele and my uke sits well in the stand and feels supported and protected. I've not had any issues with the foam contact areas as mentioned by the other reviewer, but it's early days so I'll keep an eye on it. My uke is made from mahogany so there may not be the same issues.Edit: Now had this stand for 3 yrs and it has supported a range of Ukes from soprano to tenor size, with varius wood finishes and all have been fine with no marking or damage to the wood or the ukes in general. Still love this stand and it's still in perfect condition.All in all a nice piece of kit and I'm happy to have it.

This stand folds up very compactly (fits in my mandolin case, under the mandolin's head.) It is good looking and seems sturdy. At first I thought the mandolin was a little unstable in it, but once I got used to setting the mandolin in and taking it out, it seems fine. A wonderful travel stand for a mandolin.

Though this stand is described as a "violin" stand, it has many other uses. Personally, I bought it for use with my ukulele.One of the few problems with the ukulele is that you can't expect to just walk into somewhere and expect a stand that works with it. Not a problem with the guitar, as most places seem to provide a stand. So when I was looking for a ukulele stand, I was intent on finding one that could transport easily, and this one fits the bill. It is a very easy three-step process to unfold and fold back up. Then it can be easily stored in the underneck compartment in the case. The black neoprene coating does not damage the instrument and does a great job holding the instrument in place.It makes both a good travel stand and everyday stand. I highly recommend it.
