Very practical propane torch head, comes with all the functions except the flame and safety lock, but that does not matter because the gas adjustment knob and the ignition button need some proper forces to start on, so super low possibility for accidental ignition. This propane torch is lightweight, clean burning, and easy to operate. I especially like the handle's feel. The flame output is some kind of detail flame between the bernzomatic ts8000 and the pencil flame brass torch, it is suitable for some smaller pipes' brazing and detail blowing works on the glass wares. Overall, I am very satisfied with this propane torch.

This propane torch head arrived fast and in a very decent package, I tried this torch on my soldering project as soon as I open the box, the results is just great! I never put high expectation on such a budget-friendly propane torch, I used to think that it will have problems here just not as good as my bernzomatic ts8000, but this torch head is totally over my expectation. It almost has all the functions I need, trigger start is crispy and ignite every time, the handle is not made by cast aluminum but by some temerature-resistant nylon material, adn wrapped by rubber for easy-grip, I totally have no problem for that because I prefer something lgihtweight for easy-carry and it is very comfort and looks durable. The flame is some kind of pin point flame that is very slender and concentrated, the flame is adjustable through a gas control knob on the back of the handle, you can tune the flame into pure blue for high temperature and it gets to be very very hot and heating fast, great for precision soldering and brazing on copper or aluminum pipe joints, I think it should be also capable for some glass detail blowing jobs. Yes it is not has the TS8000's 1-click auto ignition but well the self ignition of this torch is enough for me and frankly there is not much differences. I never met any leaking problems as some other reviews said, I think those leaks might cause by the gas bottles or misuses of this torch, for me, there is nothing wrong and I am very satisfied with my TURBOHEAT TH-2013 propane torch.

Decent simple torch. It will work for me as I don't need a torch very often but it's nice to have for the price.

The TURBOHEAT Propane Torch Head with Igniter is a powerful and versatile tool designed for a wide range of tasks. I used it for pipe soldering so far, brazing, welding, and other heating applications. The trigger-start igniter offers very convenient, one-handed operation, making it easy to ignite the flame after you have turned it off to save gas. Compatible with both propane and MAPP gas, it delivers high heat output. The rubber handle is comfortable during extended use. Designed for use with 1 lb propane tanks, the torch is perfect for my use.

I got this torch for my plumbing tool kit since it has the built in ignitor. It is a nice torch head, but only gets 4 stars, because I think the execution is a bit lacking. Specifically, the ignitor trigger on mine gets stuck occasionally, and lacks the reliability of my old flint sparker. I do like the adjustability of the know, the flame pattern, and the high visibility coloring, which is why it gets 4 stars. The torch once ignited works well and offers a comfortable grip even on the stubby camping propane cylinders, which is a plus if you have to manipulate the torch. Overall, I am happy with this torch, but would like it if the ignition trigger were made/assembled a little bit better.

Reviewed: Propane Torch Head with Igniter, Trigger Start, for MAPP/MAP Pro Torch, Turbo Torch Kit, Welding, Soldering (Fuel not included)I thought this was one of the torches that stop the flow of gas when you release the trigger but it does not. This simply lights it for you when you press the trigger. If you need a simple torch occasionally this might fit the bill. This is however only marginally more convenient than a regular torch that needs to be lit.

I had purchased an item similar to this one from a big box store, and it lasted a long time, but it seemed kind of fragile and broke after being dropped a couple times. This one feels more heavy-duty like it will last longer than the last one I bought. It's worked well so far. I guess the only complaint I could have about this one is the flame doesn't seem to be as big as it was on my old one. But it's sufficient for what I use it for.
