I bought this exclusively to use on repairing all of my guitars. It is amazing for that, better than any other I have used in the past and this wasn't even made for guitars, it was made for guns. Hands down it trumps all others. The weight of it is heavy so it will never move, the quality of leather is top notch, soft and supple. It was pricey but as soon as I used it, I was so happy I had spent the extra money in getting it over others I currently own. When using it, you know your precious guitars are in good hands and it won't move, the angle is also perfect even when your guitar is on its side. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Saw a guy using this on a guitar video and thought I'd give it a try. This is a great improvement over the standard workbench neck craddle.

I’m a fan of the Protektor products. Surprise when it arrived without sand. Wish I’d known. Would have ordered everything at once. I’m already paying for shipping.

Excellent guitar neck rest for doing guitar assembly or repairs, heavily weighted bag stays in place great and zero risk of damage. Great price and lot easier then making something yourself

Very nice.I actually use this one as a guitar neck rest for doing repair work. It gives me rock-solid stability on my workbench, but protects the wood guitar neck from scratches and dents. But the intent is the same. I can't imagine anything better to provide a stable, protective rest.
