Weather band is excellent, and AM/FM radio, earphone jack works perfectly! Might should have additional batteries, due to weather conditions, as backup plan! I use it on-the-go, works very well!

Nice radio. reception is good. at the time of this review Tornado Warning in my area. Power is out. but i am currently listening to Pittsburgh weather radio. battery powered came in handy didn't expect to use already this early i the season. Battery life seems to be good. i haven't had to replace yet and i have used a considerable amount so far

Bought this ahead of a storm expecting it to be reliable, but all it does is emit low-volume static no matter what mode or frequency I try. Completely useless as a weather radio—doesn’t pick up any stations, making it a waste of money when I needed it. Would not recommend.

Why would a transistor radio be a great gift for the elderly? That's the stupidest marketing strategy I have ever heard! Everyone should have a transistor radio in their home emergency kit, car or backpack.

This radio is as amazing as the past reviewers say. The Weather Band is perfect. The AM and FM radio sensitivity is excellent. The speaker sound is also excellent. The best value in an AM FM WB Radio on Amazon. I love this radio as a backup for natural disasters.
