Maybe it’s user error, because my boyfriend doesn’t seem to have an issue like I do, but I can’t get ever get the controller to seat the first 3 tries! I struggle with it and I don’t feel like I’m dumb 👀 but I do eventually get it seated every time (even if I do call it names in the process) and it charges pretty fast. Just plug it into something other than the play station because it shuts off when the ps does. I’m still giving it 4 stars even though I find it frustrating, because of the side eyes my boyfriend gives me. Which leads me to believe it’s totally user error…

So this charging dock for the dual sense controllers works as intended, but they really don't match the PS5's aesthetics. If that's important to you, then you might want to look elsewhere, if not then they're not bad for what they are.The dock itself is fairly well built although I do feel like the connector is a little less stable than the official Sony brand dock. It's simple to set up as you just plug in a USB cord (provided) and then connect that either to you PS5 or a USB charger. It would be nice if it came with the charger, but nothing does anymore so I won't hold that against them.The only benefit I see for this over the official Sony dock is that it connects via USB. This means that you can use a fairly common multi-port USB charging block to power this along with a number of other USB powered gaming peripherals without having to find extra space on your (likely overcrowded) power strip.However, at $19.99, this is only $10 less than the official Sony brand one at full retail so depending on the importance of aesthetics or manufacturer loyalty, this might not be worth your money.
