My FR350A Type 1 sits for long periods of time which will cause gaskets to dry out. Was using the Nailer for about 15 minutes, and air started coming out of the directional exhaust non stop. Looked up the fix on the internet, ordered the more expensive part (18 instead of 9), came in within a few days (thanks Amazon), snapped it in place (tight fit), gave it some oil, and reset the cover. Oh by the way, you need to use the four screws to pull down the cover. Up and running again.

When our framing nailer started leaking air from the exhaust vent, I looked up solutions online and learned that the collar was most likely the culprit. I looked up the part number on a replacement part website (it was $30), then ordered it on Amazon for $18.99. It came the next day, and I popped it on in less than 5 minutes. It was a perfect fit, and I was back in business.
