I have been a bartender for over 20 years and have gone through countless corkscrews of the years. I open about 15 bottles of wine a night on average and need a corkscrew that is not only durable but easy to pull out of my pocket and use. I have had many Pulltap corkscrews and never has one broke or failed to work properly. Unfortunately, they do seem to be the only ones I lose or get stolen by my co-workers. LOL! I highly recomend this corkscrew to anyone in the service industry or anyone at home.

I was a career bartender. Quality of double hinges seemed to have gone downhill in the last 10 years. I bought this for a friend whos favorite color was purple. I used it quite a bit myself. Everything is tight, the mechanical pieces I mean. It may be sturdy, but dexterity of the wine key is poor. There are better options.

This just does the job. It’s a solid and well made hinged corkscrew. Not much to say beyond that it’s great and has a lot of value for the price.
