Broken tap after 6 months of use and they don't sell that part. Contacted customer service about this and they told us to buy whole new product. Waste of money. Please don't buy it.

There are occasional water leaks. Also, the button to release the water becomes loose from time to time. It's disappointing that it didn’t last at least a year.

I am very pleased with this countertop water filter system. The taste of the filtered water is excellent, making a noticeable difference from tap water. The speed of water filtration is also impressive, providing clean water quickly. One feature I particularly like is the raised design, which includes a storage space underneath. This allows the filter to be placed in the middle of the countertop, not just on the edge, making it convenient to fill a glass of water easily.Overall, this filter system combines functionality with a sleek design, making it a great addition to any kitchen.

I wanted to love this dispenser so much. The capacity is awesome, the flavor is great, and the double filter option makes it faster than other dispensers.Unfortunately the spigot on this thing just makes it completely awful. I am writing this review after the 3rd spigot failure in less than 2 years. We ordered our first one just about 2 years ago and the spigot handle completely broke (we used vice grips to make it work until our replacement arrived), but we have independent, elementary aged kids, who aren't always gentle on things, so we figured it might be a fluke. We took the chance and bought a second one in November of 2023.Less than a year into the second one (I just checked the emails and we got the replacement in January!) the spigot started doing this thing where it would get stuck and you couldn't get the water to stop coming out. I could not find a way to just replace the spigot, so I reached out to the company. After asking me for the number on the box it came in (which by a miracle I happened to still have) they did replace the whole unit, and THEN they told me that they typically need a receipt to process those returns. That would have been nice to know in the first place. It would have been a lot easier to give them that in the first place, so that felt a little shady. But whatever, they replaced it and paid to have the other shipped back and all was well.Well, now, just over 2 months after getting this replacement, it just started doing the exact same thing! When this thing works I love it, but when the filters last longer than the device itself it becomes a completely unreasonable expense.I'm not interested in having to jump through hoops every couple of months or pay $50 multiple times a year for a product that should reasonably last for way more than 2 years (with filter replacement obviously).

My vocation necessitates that I, quite frequently, travel internationally into extremely remote non-industrialized regions of the globe!! Subsequently, I carry a variety of very sophisticated, and expensive, portable water purification units with me at all times. They are designed for a myriad different applications, hence, they range from pocket sized to counter top sized, and from city water to pond water - LITERALLY!!However, I purchased my two PUR systems specifically for domestic use. I utilize the pitcher for the refrigerator, and this PUR 44 cup for the kitchen counter. I use them both EXCLUSIVELY for ALL of the H20 that I consume, from my coffee in the morning, to my hydration throughout the day, and then oral hygiene before bed at night! The PUR systems ARE MARVELOUS at effectively, efficiently, and expeditiously accomplishing the task for which they were designed in an Eco-friendly manner. PUR has enabled me to be supplied with sweet tasting, fresh filtered water. Hence, PUR units are effectually empowering me to produce a sub-zero carbon footprint in the process (NO MORE PLASTIC CONTAINERS!!)The PUR filtration system leaves ABSOLUTELY NO lingering odor from, or lingering after-taste in, the water. Furthermore, there is ABSOLUTELY NO mineral residue in either the unit's water reservoirs or my coffee maker (2 pots daily!!) You'll be AMAZED at how fresh-water can diminish the bitter taste of your coffee and revitalize your coffee-maker, while extending its life span!!The PUR units are VERY nicely designed and well-constructed from top to bottom!! I've owned the larger pitcher for several years, to be kept in the refrigerator, and the PUR 44 cup, for kitchen counter use, for about 6 months. I am conscientious to use all of the filtered water each time that the PUR unit has been filled, thus rendering the unit completely empty. I then give BOTH reservoirs a quick rinse prior to refilling them. The PUR 44 cup unit's reservoirs can be expeditiously replenished as a result of its dual filter design!!The PUR filter replacement indicator, that is located on the upper portion of the spigot, is VERY helpful to remind me when to replace the filters. PUR replacement PPF900Z filters are extremely affordable when purchased in a 4-pack, AND, replacing them is an exceptionally simple task! Those who berate the quality of the PUR’s dispensing spigot must be pretty rough with it. Please bear in mind that it is neither a gear shift nor a beer tap!! Those who say that it leaks mysteriously, may simply be overfilling the top reservoir! When the bottom reservoir is full, then the top reservoir can NOT be filled beyond 3/4 inch below the top rim. As a point of reference, the top of the divider fin, that separates the two filter chambers, can mark the maximum effective fill level. If the PUR is filled much higher than that then, VERY SLOWLY and INCONSPICUOUSLY, water will wick up, then out, from the area between the outer side of the top reservoir and inner side of the bottom reservoir. It happened to me ONCE!! (see photos)When I contemplate the quality, utility, convenience, and cost of these PUR water systems, I can not hesitate to acknowledge, and applaud, the phenomenal value that they represent in their price range!! Also, both of these PUR water filtration units come fully equipped with their initial filters, which are included in the remarkably affordable purchase price!!!

I was a Berkey filter zealot until I read some information about their lack of standardized lab testing. Their replacement filters cost as much as a new sofa so I ditched them and got this PUR. PUR does have legit testing and knowing exactly what I am getting (or not getting) in my water is really nice and important! This thing is huge and and we use a lot of water but only fill it once or twice a day. My husband fills 3 huge Thermos and a couple of water bottles for work, we make a big pot of coffee and I use a water bottle full before dinner and there is still enough water left in the filter until after dinner when we fill it. There is a blinking green light on the pull-handle that lets you know that your filters are still o.k.; the lights turn to yellow, then red when it’s time to change. The flow out of the spigot is strong! Things fill fast. The water is odorless and tasteless and there is zero chlorine smell. Our tap water reeks of chlorine! To be perfectly honest this water tastes better than our old filter’s. The filters cost about a tenth of our old filters to replace so we feel like we can afford to change them regularly without the stress of the cost and the back-ordering of our old ones. After much research, the PUR filters have better processes to remove contaminants, too. We really love this filter!
