The Vector is an innovative speaker concept that meets the demanding needs of audio sound systems. It's pyramid speaker design fits into standard 2'x2' or 2'x4' ceiling tile grids, providing an amazing 360 degrees of hemispheric sound. Only minutes to install, just take out one ceiling tile and lay-in the VCA8 within the same tile grid. The 8 ohm input is compatible with any commercial or stereo sound system. The Vector employs (3 smaller 6.5”) very fast transient response aluminum-woofer drivers that are very powerful and stable. Working in unison these drivers produce clean powerful dynamic sound. When designing the Vector the goal was to have the single most import feature at the forefront, good transient response ("dynamic contrast"). A transient is a sound of short duration, and good transient response can only be achieved if the speaker can deliver its output quickly and cleanly without smearing the original sound, and be completely soundless immediately after. Transients contain the essentials of sound reproduction they provide the sharp pop from a snare drum, the cutting edge of digital sound, the dynamics of the human voice. Larger 2-way cabinet loudspeaker systems offer relatively slow transient response, and the small high-frequency horn tends to beam a narrow, blaring sound at the listener—end result, muddy sound. By replacing larger speakers with four 6" drivers we increased the driver surface area while creating more punch and a tight, more focused low-end.

Great sounding speakers! Installed in a large open showroom and the sound is very clear and disperses well throughout the space. Without knowing the brand, I would assume these were a high end quality product, similar to Bose or Polk Audio in quality. In the future I will be using these for future installs! Great product, easy set up and great sound!

Easy hook up sounds great took me about 1min to pull the old tile down put the speaker up.

I put four of these in my lab and really sounds nice. I have some decent amps, and i put an 8 inch couch potato sub in the celling. I don't see anything else comparable.

For PA this is perfect. For music, works best with a subwoofer but surprisingly good sound with proper EQ adjustment. The one thing I really didn't like about these speakers is the color, it reminds me of the old plastic used in the late '90 early 2000s, has a yellow hue, especially when its next to a white ceiling tile. Overall I'd purchase again but might have to paint the speaker white to get rid of the dingy yellow hue.

Bought a pair of these for a 2200 sq. ft. classroom and they work well. Doesn't have the bass of the 3-way Technics speakers I am replacing, but that is to be expected since they don't have a large case. They have enough power to fill the room, but I think I will end up eventually getting a second pair just to even out the volume levels.

I have used both the three and four speaker ceiling pods and they are outstanding. The unit in it's entirety is fairly lightweight, but the speakers really pack a punch. The highs and mids are extremely precise and the low end is really good considering the size of the speakers. I have used them in an a church sanctuary with ceilings as high as 15-20 feet and the sound covers really well. I have also used them in a church fellowship hall with ceilings as low as 7 foot and the sound and coverage was equally as good. They come with hardware that would allow you to secure them to the above structure if you didn't trust the strength of the drop ceiling, but I've never been in that position before. Just run your wire, drop the speaker into the ceiling slot, plug them in and go. Some of these are made for 70volt systems, instead of 8ohm, so be cautious when purchasing. This particular one is setup for 8ohms.

It fills a room but it gives you a funny sensation when sitting directly under it. As you move out of one speakers "blast pattern" and move into anothers.

My company is renovating our main conference room and wanted to integrate Audio/Video and computer into the conference room table and speakers on the wall for sound. While searching Amazon, I found this product and thought it would be an ideal fit. We just installed and utilized suggested amplifier and WOW! The sound is awesome and it looks much nicer in the suspended ceiling than wall mounted speakers. Very impressed!
